Emma graduated from the Griffith University School of Dentistry with First Class Honours. Upon graduation, she was one of only 50 dentists Australia wide to be offered a year long internship by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing. During her internship, Emma worked as a general dentist in the public dental system and received intense mentorship from multiple specialists and senior dentists.
Upon completion, she was offered a permanent position with Queensland Health working at the new Gold Coast University Hospital. Here Emma provided dental services for many medically compromised hospital patients -especially those suffering from cancer and oral cancer in particular. Emma worked as part of a multi disciplinary team that provided ongoing care and education to limit the dental complications arising from radiation and chemotherapy treatments for these patients.
After a number of years in the Public Sector, Emma joined the Dental on Falconer team in 2015. She enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry and is a very kind and compassionate practitioner.
Emma currently divides her time between private practice as part of the Dental on Falconer team, and public practice in the Southport District.
In her spare time Emma enjoys Beach Walks, Yoga and Listening to Music.
