Here’s some good news for NIB members. From 23 October 2026, we’ll offer no-gap preventative dental care for eligible members. That includes:

The same no-gap arrangement will also apply to eligible members of funds that partner with NIB: Qantas, AAMI, Apia, Suncorp, GU Health and ING Health.

What Does “No Gap” Mean?

When you visit the dentist, your health fund pays part of the bill, and you normally pay the rest. That leftover amount is called the “gap.”

As a no-gap provider, we accept your fund’s payment as the full fee for eligible preventative services. If your cover includes these services and you have enough benefits remaining, there may be no additional cost on the day. Our reception team can help you check your eligibility before your appointment.

Preferred Provider for BUPA, HCF, CBHS and TUH

We’re also a preferred provider with BUPA, HCF, CBHS and TUH. This means we have agreed fees for certain services with these funds, which may help reduce out-of-pocket costs depending on your cover.

In most cases, we can process your health fund claim at reception, so you’ll know whether there’s a gap to pay before you leave. Less paperwork for you!

Not with any of the funds above? That’s completely fine. We welcome members of every health fund, as well as patients without private cover. We’re happy to give you a cost estimate before any treatment, so you can check with your fund and plan ahead.

Families may also be eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule for children’s dental care, and we welcome Department of Veterans’ Affairs patients too. Whatever your situation, our team will talk you through your options in plain language.

What does no-gap mean?

No-gap means there’s no additional amount to pay for an eligible service when your health fund benefits cover the agreed fee. From 23 October 2026, this will apply to selected preventative services for eligible NIB and participating partner fund members, subject to cover and remaining benefits.

Do you accept my health fund?

Yes! We welcome all health funds. From 23 October 2026, we’ll offer NIB no-gap preventative care for eligible members. We’re also a preferred provider with BUPA, HCF, CBHS and TUH.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Bring your health fund card or digital membership details. Our reception team can help process your claim and explain any amount you may need to pay.
